Disaster Consequences Ministry is ready to render help to Russia in
extinguishing forest fires in Russia.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the press service of the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Ministry.
Pursuant to order from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych,
ready for going to Russia are two planes An-32, fire engineering
concentrated in the border districts, and the burn center of Donetsk.
According to the statement, sanitary institutions of Ukraine are ready to host children from Russian districts hit by fires.
According to mass media reports, at least 34 people have died as
a result of forest fires in Russia. The emergency situation is in 14
regions of Russia.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukraine on August 1
proposed its help to Russia to tackle the effects of forest fires in a
number of regions in Russia.
